THE ESSENTIALS
Before you start
- Identify the equipment and owner.
- Find the cover actually selected.
- Confirm changes through documentation.
An advertised option is not evidence of purchase
The Zurich Condomínio page lists solar and photovoltaic panels among its complementary covers. This shows why the actual policy configuration needs checking instead of inferring inclusion from the word condominium. The review should use the schedule and other documents applicable to the particular building.

Prepare a short installation record
Fictional example: residents installed panels, but the building's administration subsequently changed. The new administrator requests an equipment description, installation date and records establishing ownership and maintenance arrangements. She brings those references together and marks anything still missing. She does not assume all panels are equivalent or that the installation invoice determines the appropriate insured amount. The purpose is to give someone reviewing the contract a concrete description, with documentary sources that can be followed rather than a recollection passed between successive administrators.
Ask by risk and by item
Ask how the equipment, supports and associated components are treated. Clarify covered risks, limits and relevant exclusions, including the position during work on the installation. If another organisation owns the equipment, have that fact included in the assessment. File the answer alongside the minutes or document supporting the change, without treating it as acceptance while contractual confirmation is still outstanding. An invoice establishes a purchase or service but does not replace reading the benefits. Keep a clear distinction between proposed changes and those recorded in the policy.
Review the building as it actually stands
Read the home multirisk guide and ask RMACHADO GROUP to review the condominium's insurance against the equipment installed. A documented inventory makes the enquiry more specific and the comparison more useful.
