THE ESSENTIALS
Before you start
- Identify lump sum or income.
- Confirm first payment and duration.
- Separate immediate and monthly needs.
Distinguish the situations
PRÉVOIR Renda Júnior presents an initial capital payment and monthly education income following the insured person's death or absolute and permanent disability, under the product's terms. This example distinguishes an immediate payment from benefits paid over time.

Fictional example
Fictional example: Leonor wants to plan for 600 euros a month over five years for a specific need. Simple addition gives 36,000 euros. That calculation only describes her objective: it does not establish that a 600-euro monthly benefit is equivalent to a 36,000-euro lump sum, or account for terms, adjustments, timing or other expenses. The family also asks what would happen if a larger amount were needed at the beginning.
Put the distinction to work
Compare the covered event, recipient, first payment and final payment side by side. Do not confuse the policy's protection period with the duration of benefit payments. Identify which part of the need is immediate and which is recurring. Use the life insurance guide to ask RMACHADO GROUP to assess quotations against that family timetable rather than comparing only the most prominent number.
