NON-LIFE INSURANCE

Personal accident

Explore arrangements for the consequences of an accident, according to your activity.

What to know

Personal accident protection should start with the activities you undertake and the consequences you want to provide for. Check the definition of accident, the people covered and the sum insured for each cover. It should not be confused with health or occupational accident insurance.

  • Assess accidental death or disability and treatment expenses where available.
  • Identify relevant occupational, sporting or leisure activities.
  • Check age limits, territory, excesses and exclusions.

NON-LIFE INSURANCE

  • Clarify the treatment of children, the home and private activities.
  • Compare the sum insured, excess, territory and exclusions.

NON-LIFE INSURANCE

Assess liability for harm your animal may cause to others.

What to know

This assessment focuses on harm the animal may cause to others. It differs from an arrangement for veterinary expenses. The animal’s identification and characteristics help clarify its classification and any applicable requirements.

  • Check the responsible people, places and situations included.
  • Confirm applicable obligations, the sum insured, excesses and exclusions.

Bicycles and Cycling

Protecting your bicycle starts with the equipment, its use and the insurance terms.

What to know

The bicycle, accessories, use and places where it is ridden or stored help define the request. Protection for the property, accidents involving the rider and liability to others should be assessed separately.

  • State the bicycle’s characteristics, value and use.
  • Confirm theft, storage and required security conditions.
  • Clarify assistance, riding abroad and sporting activities.

  • Prepare identification, characteristics and the craft’s value.
  • State the navigation area, use and mooring location.
  • Assess hull, liability, assistance and quotation limits.

NON-LIFE INSURANCE

Cyber

Understand protection options for digital risks associated with your activity.

What to know

Digital risks should be assessed through the systems, data and processes the business depends on. Protection may involve incident response, first-party losses and liability towards others, but each component requires confirmation in the quotation.

  • Describe the activity, digital dependencies and security measures.
  • Confirm how to activate assistance and report an incident.
  • Clarify limits, waiting periods, exclusions and prevention obligations.

NON-LIFE INSURANCE

NON-LIFE INSURANCE

Goods in transit

Goods on the move: an assessment that considers the assets and their transport.

What to know

  • Identify goods, values, origins, destinations and transport modes.
  • Confirm the start and end of cover, including loading and unloading.

NON-LIFE INSURANCE

Leased assets

  • Prepare the assets’ description, value and location.
  • Share the agreement’s insurance requirements through the specified channel.
  • Check risks covered, excesses and treatment of the finance provider.

Surety

Explore an arrangement guaranteeing obligations, subject to assessment of the contract and risk.

What to know

Surety insurance concerns a guarantee for a specific obligation. Assessment starts with the contract or requirement behind it, the beneficiary and term. Issuance depends on risk assessment and the terms accepted by the insurer.

  • Identify the guaranteed obligation and beneficiary.
  • Prepare the required amount, term and guarantee wording.
  • Clarify calling conditions and policyholder obligations.

NON-LIFE INSURANCE

Fire

Clarify protection for assets against fire risk and the applicable terms.

What to know

  • Prepare the risk’s characteristics, use and location.
  • Confirm assets, sums insured and valuation criteria.
  • Clarify additional covers, excesses and exclusions.

INFORMATION FOR YOUR DECISION

Understand the insurance
before comparing.

Explore covers, limits and questions that help you prepare a decision. Every insurance option has a dedicated guide with comparison points and details to prepare for a quotation.

INSURANCE IN PLAIN LANGUAGE

Six concepts for
reading a quotation.

Understanding these terms helps you compare conditions. Check their precise definition and application in your policy.

Premium
The price of insurance, paid at the agreed intervals. Compare the total cost and any terms associated with instalments.
Sum insured
The amount or limit defined for a cover under the policy. Additional limits may apply to specific events.
Excess
The part of a loss or cost you pay under the policy terms. It may be a fixed amount or a percentage.
Waiting period
A period during which a cover cannot yet be used under the policy terms. Check when it starts and which situations it applies to.
Exclusion
A situation excluded from protection by the policy. Read exclusions alongside the cover description and acceptance terms.
Policyholder and insured person
The policyholder takes out the contract. The insured person is the person whose personal risk is covered. They may be different people.

KEEPING IT CLEAR

Good questions.
Clear answers.

Have another question?

How do I request a quotation?+

Choose the insurance, fill in the applicable fields and review all details. On submission, your request is recorded for follow-up. The complete summary is available to share by email or WhatsApp; the page shows the status of the automatic notification to your intermediary.

Which details should I prepare?+

This depends on the insurance, policyholder type and arrangement. The form adapts to your request. Do not include an IBAN, documents or medical information at this stage. Your intermediary will explain how to provide any further details needed.

Does requesting a quotation activate insurance?+

No. A quotation request is not a policy and does not confirm cover. Taking out insurance depends on risk assessment, acceptance of the terms and formalisation with the insurer. Always confirm the start date and policy documents.

Can I review my existing insurance?+

Yes. You can ask for a review of your needs and existing insurance. Before changing or cancelling a policy, confirm terms, deadlines and continuity of cover with your intermediary.

Do you also arrange business insurance?+

Yes. Options include business multi-risk, liability, work accidents, cyber, goods in transit and equipment insurance. The assessment should consider your business activity and specific risks.

Is savings insurance the same as protection insurance?+

They serve different needs. Life protection concerns risks affecting the insured person. Insurance-based savings and investments involve different aims. Assess risk, guarantees, costs, term and conditions for each product without assuming a return or capital guarantee.

How do I compare quotations with different prices?

Check whether they cover the same risks using equivalent sums insured, excesses and assumptions. Review exclusions, limits, services and adjustment terms. A lower price may reflect different protection. Our insurance guides help you prepare this comparison.

Can I authorise contact for my next renewal?

Yes. In the request, you can choose whether to authorise contact and specify the date and channel. This choice is separate from the quotation request and concerns the next renewal you specify. You can ask your intermediary to withdraw it.
